AMBACelebrates Rising Star Students
On June 3, 2025, Alberta’s mortgage community gathered at the BMO Centre in Calgary for the AMBACelebrates Gala Awards and to recognize AMBA’s 50 year legacy. Our awards program celebrates excellence in our industry—and to honour the students who are already shaping its future.
As part of our annual Awards Gala, AMBA recognizes outstanding achievement across 16 categories, including two Rising Star Awards that shine a spotlight on student excellence. These awards are presented to AMBA’s Mortgage Associates Program (MAP) students who demonstrate not only exceptional academic performance but also professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to the values that guide our industry.
This year’s winners are especially meaningful as AMBA celebrates 50 years of elevating Alberta’s mortgage community. Our Rising Stars represent the future—and we’re proud to spotlight them during this milestone year.
Rajat Kapoor
Awarded to the student with the highest combined score on AMBA’s pre-licensing exams, Rajat has exemplified dedication and diligence throughout his learning journey.
