You don’t have to be a math whiz to ace the RECA Practice of Mortgage Brokerage exam. You do, however, need to know how to use a calculator to get you the numbers you need. There is only one approved calculator for your pre-licensing exam – the Qualifier 4x-Canadian Model 3423. Other models (including apps!) will not be allowed in the exam room.

We know what you’re thinking: There must be an app for that!

There is, and you can download it from the Apple store to use during your course. However, you will not be able to access the app during the exam. This particular calculator model is the only physical device allowed in the exam room.
